Becca's Seafood Seasoning
In the United States, seafood seasoning became more distinct in the 19th and 20th centuries. Maryland and Louisiana developed bold, spicy blends that became iconic. Old Bay Seasoning: Created in 1939 by Gustav Brunn, a German immigrant in Baltimore, Old Bay became synonymous with Chesapeake Bay seafood, especially crabs and shrimp. The blend includes celery salt, paprika, black pepper, red pepper, and other spices.
I created Becca's Seafood Seasoning years ago when I wanted to have a great tasting seasoning that was homemade and also didn't have so much salt. I think this does the trick. This seasoning has a unique flavor that helps spice up any dish.
