Our 4 oz crab cakes are our sandwich size, built for the classic Maryland crab cake sandwich. We make them by hand in Crisfield, Maryland, packed with 86% real crab meat and just 14% seasonings and binders. We hand-form every cake in Crisfield using a recipe we have spent about 30 years perfecting. Each one is individually weighed and shaped, the way a real Maryland crab cake should be.

Genuine blue crab flavor, not filler.

Grocery-store crab cakes lean on imported meat, heavy breading, and crab flavoring, often with far less than half the crab content. Ours is 86% crab meat, so what you taste is the crab, lightly seasoned with Old Bay and natural ingredients.

Hand-graded meat you can see and feel.

We fold the crab in carefully to keep the lumps intact. The Original blend uses jumbo lump and back fin; the All-Jumbo is made exclusively with jumbo lump, the most premium grade.

Each 4 oz cake is our sandwich size, sized to build a proper crab cake sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce on a bun. Pick the blend that suits you: Original (gourmet lump, a mix of jumbo lump and back fin) or All-Jumbo (made exclusively with jumbo lump, the most premium grade). The recipe is the same across both. The only difference is the meat blend.

We make these by hand in Crisfield, Maryland, the crab capital of the world, using the same recipe we have been perfecting for about 30 years. Every cake is hand-formed, individually weighed, patted into shape, and individually wrapped, then quick-frozen at minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit.

Our source: these are authentic blue crab (Callinectes sapidus), the domestic American blue crab, not imported blue swimming crab. We are True Blue certified, which means at least 75% of our Maryland seafood is harvested or processed in Maryland. Our crab meat is a mix of Maryland crab and other domestic U.S. blue crab.

Cooking & Serving

Pan-fry: heat a thin layer of oil over medium-high heat and cook about 3 minutes per side, until the exterior is golden and the inside is hot.

Broil: set the broiler to high, place the cakes on a broiler pan, and broil 5 to 6 minutes per side. Watch closely so they do not burn.

Air fryer: set to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and cook 10 to 12 minutes, turning halfway.

Serve: build the classic 4 oz sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce on a bun, or plate it with cocktail or tartar sauce on the side.
