It’s a breeze to prepare and makes for a comforting dinner that the whole family will love. If you like your orzo a little al dente, use only 1 1/2 cups of water/broth. Feel free to customize your orzo with vegetables like broccoli, squash, zucchini, or sautéed onions. For seasoning, you can use Italian seasoning with a pinch of freshly ground pepper or your favorite seafood seasoning. Enjoy your meal! This recipe takes 10 minutes of prep and 40 minutes of cooking.
2 teaspoons of powdered soup mix
1 cup orzo
1 tablespoon Thyme sprigs
1 Rosemary sprig
2 cups boiling water or unsalted broth (or 1½ cups for al dente orzo)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 6-oz wild caught Salmon filets
Up to 3/4 cup cream
A few sprinkles of black pepper
Additional seasoning for salmon (optional)
