Zippy Crab Imperial
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup green and red bell peppers, chopped
- 1 cup light cream
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 pound jumbo lump crab meat
- 1 cup bread crumbs
Melt butter in pan and sauté peppers until soft. Add cream and seasonings and cook until thickened. Gently mix in the crab meat and bread crumbs. Transfer to a buttered casserole dish and bake at 325 degrees 10 to 15 minutes or until heated through.
