Tonya's Clam Chowder
- 20 large clams
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 large potatoes, diced
- 2 to 3 tablespoons bacon grease
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups milk
Chop clams. Combine clams with onion and potatoes in saucepan. Cover with water and add bacon grease. Cook until potatoes and clams are tender. Add doughboys made from Jiffy mix or Bisquick and milk. Simmer an additional 15 minutes. |
