Baked Stuffed Shrimp With Crab

  • 1 lb. shrimp (16 to 20 ct.)
  • 8 oz. crab meat
  • 6 oz. bread crumbs
  • 5 oz. onion
  • 2½ oz. red bell pepper
  • 2½ oz. green bell pepper
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 oz. butter
  • ½ tsp. chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp. poupon mustard
  • 2 oz. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. Lea & Perrins
  • Salt and pepper

Finely dice the onion, red pepper and green pepper. Saute in butter, add crabmeat and mix.

Remove from heat and add bread crumbs. Add the rest of ingredients and mix well. Season to taste.

Peel, devein and butterfly shrimp. Stuff with crab stuffing.

Bake shrimp stuffed with crab meat at 350 degrees until golden brown, about 5 to 6 minutes.
