Althea's Crab Meat Cakes
A delicious sautéd crabcake recipe.
- 1 pound backfin crab meat
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons onion juice
- 2 teaspoons parsley flakes
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 2 slices dry wheat bread made into crumbs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened slightly
- ¼ teaspoon seafood seasoning
Combine all ingredients and shape into cakes.
Pan fry in butter until browned on both sides.
Serves 4. |
